LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY 

This policy applies to products purchased and used within the continental United States only, is non-transferable and applies only to Products purchased from authorized retailers or directly from TripleLite.

 

 

1. Warranty Coverage

TripleLite (“Brand”) warrants to the original end-user purchaser (“Customer”) that its flashlight products (“Product”) are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for the applicable warranty period outlined below.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to Products purchased from authorized retailers or directly from the Brand.

 

2. Warranty Periods

  • Flashlights (General Consumer Use): 1 Year Limited Warranty from date of purchase 

3. What Is Covered

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
  • Failure of LED under normal use
  • Electrical component failure not caused by misuse
  • Switch failure under normal operating conditions

4. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, finish wear, fading, lens wear)
  • Battery degradation due to normal use
  • Damage caused by:
    • Misuse, abuse, or neglect
    • Improper installation or operation
    • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
    • Use of incompatible or non-approved batteries or accessories
    • Overcharging or improper charging practices
    • Water damage beyond rated IP specification
  • Products purchased from unauthorized sellers (see Section 10)
  • Products identified as counterfeit (see Section 10)
  • Lost or stolen products

5. Proof of Purchase Requirement

A valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Acceptable documentation includes:

  • Retail receipt
  • Order confirmation from authorized seller

Without proof of purchase, warranty claims may be denied or subject to prorated coverage at the Brand’s discretion.

 

6. Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim, Customer must:

  1. Contact Brand Customer Support through warranty submission  Warranty Form
  2. Provide:
    • Proof of purchase
    • Product model number
    • Description of defect
    • Photos or video (if requested)
  3. Receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before sending Product

7. Remedies

At its sole discretion, the Brand will replace the Product with the same or comparable model

 

8. Shipping Responsibility

  • Customer is responsible for shipping Product to the Brand
  • Brand will cover return shipping for approved warranty claims within the United States

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Brand shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Liability is limited to the original purchase price of the Product
  • Brand makes no other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose

10. Authorized Sales, Anti-Counterfeit & Marketplace Policy

This warranty applies only to Products purchased through authorized sales channels.

  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers, including third-party marketplace sellers, may not be eligible for warranty coverage
  • Warranty is void for any Product determined, at Brand’s sole discretion, to be counterfeit, altered, or not genuine
  • Brand reserves the right to deny warranty claims where the product origin cannot be verified

11. Commercial Use Limitation

Products used for commercial, industrial, institutional, or rental purposes are subject to a limited warranty period of 90 days from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified in writing by the Brand.

 

12. Battery Safety & Approved Use Clause

For safety and performance reasons:

  • Only batteries and charging accessories approved or supplied by the Brand should be used with the Product
  • Use of incompatible or modified batteries may:
    • Void this warranty
    • Result in product damage or failure
    • Pose safety risks, including fire or explosion

The Brand shall not be liable for damage or injury resulting from improper battery use.

 

13. Governing Law

This warranty shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state in which the Brand is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

 

14. Policy Updates

Brand reserves the right to modify this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. The warranty in effect at the time of purchase shall apply.
